GETTING STARTED
Computer knowledge will vary amongst practice staff and often ranges from the ‘very proficient’ to the ‘very scared’. Our Training Staff are well aware of this and have devised a Training Schedule to guide each practice through the basics and the essentials of setting up and learning a new system. It is not always necessary for all staff to attend all training sessions and our Trainers will discuss specific requirements well in advance of the first Training Session.
We include three training sessions, as standard, when a new computer system is purchased. This will vary for multi branch practices and practices that may already be familiar with our software; in this instance training is agreed subject to requirement.
It is normally the case that all training is held at the practice, although we do on occasion hold training sessions at our head office if requested and if convenient.
The following boxes give an overview of what is covered; this is based on a standard new system installation. The duration of each session is 4 hours, detailed training notes and a comprehensive training manual on CD Rom is provided.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING
Additional training is not included in the cost of a new system. We provide Refresher Training Sessions, which are particularly useful if the practice has employed new staff members since the initial installation and training. Or you feel that you are not getting the most out of your system. Tailored Training Sessions can cover any areas of the system that you like.
Our Training Staff are also proficient in Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel. Sage would normally require one complete session because it includes full installation and setup as well as teaching on how to use it. Microsoft Word and Excel could easily be incorporated into a Tailored Training session.
We also run Training Workshops at regional locations throughout the year. These are always well attended and have proved to be beneficial for our users. The Workshops typically run from 10.00am to 3.00pm and are charged at approx £75 per person. Refreshments are included. We contact all users in a regional area well in advance of the Workshops.
If you would like to discuss your training requirements in more detail or to discuss a Refresher / Tailored Training Session please contact our Training Department.
